I have to install my laptop to go on a couple of business trips.
To get it as close as possible to my desktop I have to install the following software (all legitimate by the way):
- DB2 (8.2 – Fixpack 17)

- Total Commander 7.04a

- IntelliJ 8
- Maven 2.0.10
- WebSphere 6.1 (Fixpack 25)
- Subversion 1.5 (I use the Silke install)
- TortoiseSVN 1.5
- Firefox 3.5
- Visual Studion C++ 2008 Express (yes C…..)
- Office 2007 (gotto have it….)
- OpenVPN
- Putty
- WinSCP
- Skype
- Pidgin
- Foxit (Who needs adobe’s reader?)
- Office Visio 2007
- Live Writer (The best Blog Writer I have come across)
- Rational Application Developer 6 (Grrrrr….)
- Sophos Anti-Virus
- PDFFactory
- Java 5 (JDK)
- Taskbar Shuffle (makes my live easier)
- Nero Burning Rom 8 (I don’t have a licence for 9…)
- Advanced Query Tool
- Cygwin
No Fred, no Launchy….
I have to copy the following from my desktop:
- My Maven (.m2) repository
- My Workspaces directory
- My dos/Unix worker scripts
- My studies folder
